Mo Flava has been announced as the new host of Metro FM‘s coveted breakfast show. The seasoned broadcaster moves from his drivetime, The Drive, to host the Morning Flava. This comes after the station announced its new line-up since firing DJ Fresh.

According to a statement from the station, Kings of the Weeknd duo, Sphe and Naves will return after two years to take over the drivetime show which will be titled The Kings Suite. They will be joined Relebogile Mabotja on news and Angie Khumalo on sports.
In the statement, Metro FM station manager, Sibongile Mtyali welcomed the changes saying in part: We are convinced that we’ve found the perfect balance of on-air talent to carry on with the strategy of the station and ensure we deliver to our commitment of keeping our listeners informed and entertained, plus servicing the needs of our commercial spenders.”
Metro FM’s new line-up changes will come into effect on 5 August 2019.
