Social media was ablaze following Babes Wodumo‘s interview with Metro FM DJs Masechaba Ndlovu and Mo Flava on Friday. Babes was invited to speak about her new single and first 2018 project called Ka Dazz. The interview took an unexpected turn when Masechaba revealed allegations of abuse in the relationship between Babes and Mampintsha. Babes neither confirmed nor denied the allegations, she only confirmed that she had broken up with a few months ago. The interview was live streamed on Babes’ IG page where she was seen emotional afterwards.

The interview left many on the social media streets divided over how the allegations were revealed. Many felt that revealing such sensitive details on a public platform was not right while others felt that the expose saved Babes’ life.
What are your thoughts?
why should #BabesWodumo ‘s abuser be allowed to hide in the dark? People that knew of the abuse & remained silent are accomplices to the abuse. They’re not protecting her. Masechaba was right in my opinion.

I ‘m against woman abuse and no man must beat up a woman but you had no right as a presenter to instigate and impose the victim. You were subjective and sounded like a judge. Please learn to control emotions. I love ur show but please be objective. #babesWodumo @masechaba ndlovu

She’s a public figure we know but still this could’ve been handled differently than how she did it, she could’ve then talked about it on radio when babes was ready and okay with letting the nation know what was happening at her own time not somebody else’s time #BabesWodumo

Masechaba went about it the wrong way. But let this sink in: #Mampintsha could have ended up killing #BabesWodumo just like #Oscar did Reeva. There’s never a right way to expose the abuser.

It really upsets me. ?
Because her story wasn’t told how she wanted to.
What upsets me even more is someone laying hands on her. Nothing upsets me more than that. https://t.co/m7t6SuiPKZ— Pearl Thusi (@PearlThusi) May 19, 2018
Lets take a moment and SALUTE @MasechabaNdlovu for what she did today.
What a Woman, What a Warrior . . . Your actions should be applauded. Thank You ????#BabesWodumo #Mampintsha pic.twitter.com/08sMMw4298

Maybe we need more people like #masechaba,Imagine if she waited for #babeswodumo “to be ready to open up “ next we get news that she is missing and found dead somewhere.
Ladies open up more we don’t need another sister killed by an insecure boyfriend:(— ?Miss Radebe? (@tholakele15) May 18, 2018

If she doesn’t speak out now, are they expecting her to speak at her funeral crying and saying she should have done something about it? This is the RIGHT time to speak. Big ups to #Masechaba

#Masechaba had no right to corner babes like that, Babes had already left Mampintsha and would’ve publicly talked about it when and if she wanted to, Masechaba forced Babes to publicly talk about something she wasn’t ready to talk about just to get her ratings up

Karabo was killed… Y’all said her friends should have spoken up about the abuse she was enduring. Masechaba confronts and exposes an abuser and y’all angry at her for her approach..
GTFOH ?… Y’all don’t know what y’all want!! #BabesWodumo

Here is Babes Wodumo after the interview.. She could see Babes didn’t want to talk about it. It wasn’t her place to out this on National Radio.. So you people now stop defending Masechaba Ndlovu.. #BabesWodumo pic.twitter.com/Y3q4rtKrrv
