After a long week of deliberation, Riky Rick and his right-hand man, Master A Flat, are ready to reveal their Johannesburg top five. Having received more than 2 000 entries from budding producers, they’ve been working tirelessly to select the city’s best beats, and they’re confident they’ve found the cream of the crop.

In no particular order, the Rémy Producers Johannesburg top five producers are:

  1. Phelemo Phalane
  2. Dennis Masilo
  3. Vhutshilo Ndlovu
  4. Mashoto Mokoba
  5. Anda Macuna

These five producers will be battling it out this Friday at Taboo to see who comes out top.

  4. The overall winners will be chosen in a random draw and will be notified by email.
  5. This competition is open to Johannesburg residents only and they have to make their own transport arrangements to and from Taboo.
  6. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Winners will be disqualified if they are unable to provide us with all requested information, including an ID number.
  8. Entry information will not be shared with any third party without the entrant’s prior knowledge and consent.
  9. The competition is not open to employees of Caxton and their immediate families, the prize sponsors or their respective advertising agencies and PR companies.
  10. The prize(s) will go to the first name(s) selected at random after the closing date.
  11. Caxton Magazines reserves the right to publish the name(s) and/or photograph(s) of the winner(s).
  12. Prize(s) are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

  15.
