- ½ cup strawberry jam
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond essence
- 1 cup (250ml) cream
- 1 cup (250ml) milk
- ½ cup sliced almond nuts
- ½ cup dried cranberrie
- tablespoon ground cinnamon
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200C.
- Butter the ALBANY D’light Raisin and Cinnamon bread slices and remove crusts.
- Layer the buttered slices into a baking dish.
- Spoon jam over bread and finish with another layer of buttered bread.
- In a jug, whisk eggs, almond essence, cream and milk. Pour over bread.
- Sprinkle with almond nuts, cranberries and cinnamon. Bake until set.
- Serve immediately.
