ALBANY D’light Cinnamon and Popcorn flavoured bread
- 2 cups minced meat, cooked
- 200g cheese, thick sliced
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons (45ml) water
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 4 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoon dried mixed herbs
- Salt and pepper to serve
Oil to fry
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg and water.
- In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, herbs and season well.
- Flatten the ALBANY D’light Cinnamon and Popcorn flavoured bread slices with a rolling pin. Cut off crusts.
- Spoon minced meat onto the rolled out bread and place cheese slice on top. Roll to form a sausage shape. Dip into egg mixture and then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Deep fry for 4 – 5 minutes until golden.
- Serve immediately.
