Livers are always delicious, no matter how they are made, try this recipe on a cold winter day. You can have it for breakfast or lunch
Liver and Onions

Ingredients
- ½ cup margarine
- 2kg chicken livers
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a frying pan, melt the margarine.
- Mix flour, paprika and chilli flakes. Season well with salt and pepper.
- Dust the liver with the flour mixture.
- Fry livers for 4-5 minutes each side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add the onions to the same pan and fry for 10 -15 minutes. Add jam.
- Mix livers and onions. Serve immediately.
