They say the sky is the limit and South African opera singer, Pretty Yende is certainly proving that. The star who’s originally from Piet Ritief is currently taking on the role of Rosina in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Sivilgia at the prestigious US Metropolitan Opera House. The opera runs from January 9 until February 11.

To promote the show as well as her album, A Journey she’s been appearing on some very popular US talk shows.

The latest being the Wendy Williams show where she performed and then sat down with Wendy to talk about her upbringing.

Earlier this year she performed on the Stephen Colbert show.

The latest hit from Westink Records has a video. Family by Babes Wodumo ft Mampintsha and Cassper Nyovest shows the stars dancing it out (with Babes doing the most of course) in Durban.

As we all know, A-list couple Black Coffee and Mbali recently had their white wedding in Sun City early this year. A cute video has now surfaced of the groom, his son and other family members dancing for Mbali during the reception.

We also get to see the throwing of the bouquet and garter. Looks like a gorgeous wedding.

Our December 2015 cover star, singer-songwriter Lira has recorded her own version of How Far I’ll Go, from Disney’s upcoming animation comedy adventure film Moana.

Her recording will feature on the SA version of the film as the first end-credit song when Moana hits cinemas from Friday 2 December. Fans can buy the single from the iTunes Store from 9 December.

This is such great news for Lira’s career! Congrats to her!
