This past weekend saw South Africa and parts of the world celebrate Mother’s Day (something we think should be celebrated every day). This was an extra special day for a few first-time celeb moms who marked the occasion on social media with the most beautiful tributes. We’re not crying!

I’ve cried so many times today for so many reasons, mainly because I’d gotten accustomed to heartbreak and disappointment. I think alot of us live in that space. I set up shop there. This moment reminded me that miracles do happen. You cant age out of joy. You are worthy. You are worthy. You are worthy. Sending so much love today to all the mamas, stepmamas, grandmas, aunties real and play, daddies, friends and anyone who has taken the time to nurture another living soul. I see you, I gotchu. And to those who have lost their mamas, grandmas, mother figures, sending extra love and light and hugs your way. ??????????

When u found out you were pregnant, u were ANGRY, because of your proclamations of never wanting to have children. When u found out it was twins, you were SCARED because you didnt know how we were gone manage 2 kids when we were still tryina figure out how to manage ourselves. But when you gave birth… you fell in LOVE, because You had been chosen to give life to 2 beautiful gifts from God. Since then… its been a wild 4 months of late nights, milk bottles, nappy changes, doctors visits, health scares and uncontrollable crying. Yet, no matter what, when, where and how, u always remain fully committed to your children. Even in the moments when u are tired and have become weak, u always find the strength to be there for our kids. Thank you for your commitment. Thank you for your love. And thank you for these blessings. You are an amazing women and a phenomenal person to be called a Mother. God bless you #MommyLove. And Happy Mothers day. – Love Dzaddy
