1. I fell in love with netball while watching my friends play. That day, they needed one more player to make up a team, so they asked me to join them. Since then, netball has become a huge part of my life.
2. Playing netball has opened many doors for me. Being a part of the national netball team has improved my life. I have travelled abroad to compete with other teams, and I’m also involved in amazing empowerment initiatives. I’m committed to improving the sport.
3. I’m the proud ambassador of the Girls Only Project. Being part of this project is important to me because we address some of the challenges faced by young women in sports. We conduct open and honest discussions at schools and sport clubs, promoting the sport and empowering girls. I believe the profile of women in sports should be promoted in order to improve lives.
4. I wish netball would become more recognised as a national sport. Over the years, netball has grown and more young girls are taking interest in it. There are many opportunities as the sport is growing at a rapid pace.
